You’ll feel good about eating here—most of the food is locally grown or produced, and the space is sleek yet homey, with an open kitchen boasting a large stone oven and rotisserie. Dishes are always seasonal and refined yet unfussy; order some deviled eggs while you peruse the menu and decide between Heritage breed baby chicken with saffron-braised artichokes or grilled Hudson Valley rabbit with English peas and polenta. The same seasonal attention is given to the expertly mixed cocktails, like the strawberry-rhubarb mint julep on the spring menu.
