We are often drawn to things at extreme ends of the spectrum. While we are obsessed with finding the epitome of urban culture here in New York City, we often find ourselves longing for something more wild and pristine. Last year we journeyed to Chilean Patagonia to immerse ourselves in nature—and not just any nature. Patagonia has some of the most diverse landscapes and wildlife on earth. Here you can literally see the forces of nature at work before your eyes. And it doesn’t hurt to stay in a beautifully designed hotel with panoramic views either. Check out our account of the trip and see if you aren’t inspired to go to the ends of the earth as well.
