Here at The Scout we are usually all about New York City, but sometimes you have to step away to see something truly amazing. In this case we went almost literally to the ends of the earth to visit the Explora Hotel Salto Chico in Patagonia, Chile. It is one of the few hotels located within the the Torres del Paine national park, home to some of the most unique and pure natural landscapes the world has to offer. The hotel itself is quite amazing in terms of design and services. The building was conceived by Chilean architects German Del Sol and Jose Cruz Ovalle. Its forms harmonize with nature and it maintains a low profile within the natural setting. Explora also offers exceptional dining, guided and informative hikes throughout the park, and spa services. It’s truly worth a trip to the end of the world. Expect an extended travel review on this experience.
