United Editions - Studio Culture

One of the more memorable contemporary design books in our library is Adrian Shaughnessy’s Sampler: Contemporary Music Graphics. It was released in 1999 and was successfully followed up by two other books in the series. Shaughnessy co-founded Intro a design studio based in London that was known for its contribution to the creative work in the music industry. Since leaving the company in 2003, Shaughnessy has been involved in writing and speaking on design and most recently launched Unit Editions, a small publishing company set out to “produce high-quality, affordable books on graphic design and visual culture.” First in its catalog is Studio Culture, it gives readers a candid glimpse into 28 of today’s leading graphic design studios. via GraphicHug
