It’s difficult not to mention Noemie Lafrance without referring to her past work. She’s probably best know for her playful choreography to Feist’s 2007 hit, 1234. Her previous work also includes the site specific performance at the Fisher Center, where performers danced on the exterior of the theater. Lafrance’s latest work contrasts these two performances. Home is promoted as “a site-specific performance (using the body as the site).” It is an intimate production held in a dining room where the audience takes part in the performance. Watch the video to get a sense of what it is like. If you’re a passive theater goer, this is not the show for you. Home will resume this week on the 8th and will conclude on the 12th, though there may be an extension from April 15-19. Visit Sens Production’s site for more details and to purchase tickets.
