FormaFantasma, the design duo from Eindhoven, will be exhibiting their latest collection at Droog’s Design gallery in SoHo on May 16th. Similar to Droog’s thoughtfulness behind their designs, FormaFantasma plays with the perception of everyday objects and materials, by elevating its application. In “Hidden Inlays,” chip boards are used as the primary material. In one instance with this collection, a secret chest is constructed with intricate detailing, hiding within it an inexpensive department store clock.
