The Scout recently took a weekend road trip up to the Glass House in New Canaan, Connecticut. We walked in Philip Johnson’s footsteps and imagined for a minute that our old friend Mies van der Rohe was on the phone again about that Seagram Building project, and that Andy Warhol was coming over for dinner, but this time he was bringing Jasper Johns. What a life! Unfortunately the guided tours are sold out for 2008, but we’ll be on the lookout for them to reopen for 2009. Until then check out the article and photos we just posted.
